John has been helping his clients with their mortgage and financing needs since 2001. Truly an Island boy at heart, Atkinson attended high school at Shawnigan Lake School and went on to obtain his undergraduate degree from UVIC in both economics and psychology. He has always made is home on southern Vancouver Island and currently resides in Mill Bay with his wife Lucia and daughter Sofia.

John is a member of AMP (Accredited Mortgage Professionals) and MBABC (Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia) and through these organizations is always updating himself with industry trends and product knowledge.
